Considering the amount of time I spent in DII, this is going to be very high ranked in my books.

I recommend watching the Gameplay Video, it shows a lot. Currently the only announced classes are the Barbarian and Witch Doctor, both of which look very pretty.

To be honest... i never understood the appeal of Diablo 1 or 2.

Aways seemed like they just took the worst part of MMOs, the grind, and made it into a "not so massively" multiplayer online game.

With that said, if this next one has no subscription fees like the last one i will get it.

It has a plot, sure, that's great. I wish it the best of luck in it's future, I just want/like to smash stuff whilst making Bruce Lee noises.
